Restoration and refurbishment of pavillion

The British Pavilion in Venice is the home of British Contemporary Art and Architecture at the Venice Biennale.

The British Council commissioned Brooks Murray to totally restore and refurbish the building to provide additional exhibition space, media facilities and service core. These were located to open onto a south facing terrace, which is used for corporate entertaining. The refurbishment now makes it the leading international pavilion in the Giardini Gardens.
