Installation of a staircase linking two trading floors while fully occupied.

Brooks Murray won an invited competition to design and install a new dramatic access stair between two trading floors for a large Corporate Bank in Canary Wharf. The marble double helix stair cantilevers from the existing structure and provides a suspended structural glass 'meeting point' at its centre. The stair was installed while both trading floors were fully occupied!
