The proposals retain an attractive victorian workshop, create a new wing, forming an internal mews surrounded by 7 new live-work units.
The new building and the existing will be linked at the fist floor and upper, leaving a protected main entry to the mews on the ground floor level.
The proposal used striking, contemporary materials to contrast with the rather drab street, justified by the proximity to the vibrant High Street.
