Old Hatfield
Old Hatfield sits between Hatfield Park to the east and the Great North Road, and Great Northern Railway, to the west.
Beginning even before the 2008 Old Hatfield charrette (intensive, engaged design process), Brooks Murray have been working with Gascoyne and the local communities to preserve what is valuable and restore footfall and vibrancy to this neighbourhood centre.
Numerous projects emerged from the Old Hatfield Charrette, including:
- Hatfield Station (delivered)
- Dunhams Mews (delivered)
- Church Lane (delivered)
- Stable Yard (delivered)
- York House (delivered)
- Arm & Sword Lane (partially delivered)
- Salisbury Square (in delivery)
- Melon Ground (delivered)
Together, and when Salisbury Square development is complete in April 2026, these will have completely redefined the neighbourhood centre and how Old Hatfield relates to the New Town with arrival at the beautiful new station.
