Kensington Palace Gardens

This South Kensington project involved a Grade II listed, six-storey building (two below ground level) situated along Kensington Palace Gardens.

Working to Crown Estate standards and the bespoke needs of the client, Brooks Murray were commissioned to  renovate and restore the period features of this early twentieth century house.

The Crown Estate hold exacting standards which must be met before approval to works on any of their properties. These cover, for instance, the quality of materials to be used, the delicacy of timber and brickwork.

The speed and breadth of the works to this house required the Brooks Murray team to work closely with interior designer, Gavin Brodin, and contractors, Sizebreed. An intensive team effort successfully delivered a complicated, elegant residential refurbishment in a very tight programme.
